Cyber, Privacy, Data & Information Governance: from buzz words to action items

The terminology of Cyber, Privacy, Data and Information Governance have all become mainstream topics in Australian businesses. Boards and Executive teams are now accepting of the fact that these are issues for which we need a plan, a budget and a team. But how do we collaborate better, both internally and externally, and position ourselves to turn a plan into practice with tangible benefit? And how do we get the right people in a room in order to best solve these problems?

This session will focus on taking buzz words and hype from an agenda item to practice, with practical guidance on what we have seen work and what we haven’t.

The session will cover:
- our top five prioritised initiatives that can quickly turn intent and a plan into action;
- the practical steps that turn each of these prioritised initiatives into progress, including some practical examples of success stories and also some challenges;
- a discussion on internal collaboration i.e. who needs to be involved and how internal teams can successfully work together to make progress; and how to measure success.
- practical ways that you can measure the impact of initial actions, and make any adjustments necessary.
