Comedy for Cure and Care

This April, in Bunbury, The Leukaemia Foundation’s Comedy for Cure and Care is proud to present one of Australia’s best-loved, intelligent and in-demand entertainers, Mikey Robbins.
Starting out in cabaret as part of iconic Australian sketch group Castanet Club, subject of the 1991 cult film, Mikey made the transition to radio and television. His use of clever observations, quick one-liners and brilliant, biting banter have seen him secure spots on various successful radio stations, most notably Triple J, with whom he spent 7 years behind the microphone hosting the breakfast show.

His long list of achievements also includes television appearances such as the Co-Host of Studio 10, You Have Been Watching and regular spots on Sunrise and The Fat. As well as co-authoring books such as Three Bears and a Chinese Meal (with Helen razor) and writing columns for The Daily Telegraph. Stand-up comedy being his latest triumph, we are delighted to welcome him to the stage.

With Andrea Gibbs as MC and support act Callan Durlik; an up-and-coming star on the comedy scene who at a young age already has some impressive credentials to his name including movie script writing, his own comedy specials and supporting Hollywood star Tom Green on his Australian tour, this is sure to be a hilarious night out!

The funds raised from the Comedy for Cure and Care will help fund the comprehensive range of free services the Leukaemia Foundation provides for people with blood cancer and their families as well as cutting edge research into blood cancer, to improve treatments and find cures.

General admission tickets are $46.90 or platinum tickets are $80, which includes entry to the post show function.
