Following the success of last year's inaugural black tie gala, For The Animals dedicated team of wildlife champions are hosting a fabulous night of cocktails to raise funds for key biodiversity hotspots in Southeast Asia. The evening will feature award winning cocktails by Luxe Bar, mouthwatering canapés from celebrity chef Herb Faust and high end door prizes, all in the gorgeous setting of BamBOO outdoor amphitheatre in Highgate.

On 9 November 2013 from 7 to 11pm, "Cocktails for the Animals" will once again give WA's animal lovers the chance to play a direct role in protecting endangered animals such as tigers, elephants and bears and the second largest continuous tropical forest left in Southeast Asia, where founder Rebecca Tilbrook has been involved for the past twelve years. In addition to helping wildlife and habitat, For the Animals work includes projects that address rural poverty and help to replant destroyed forests. As the human race continues to encroach on the natural environment of many of these unique creatures, it's more important than ever that this organisation diligently battle for their protection.

Herb Faust, the only Australian chef to win the Iron Chef title from the popular international cookery series, will be serving up his signature inventive canapés to accompany award winning cocktails.

Partygoers will be entertained by hot new girlband, Nylon and there's the chance to win an array of enviable door prizes from Brinkhaus Jewellers, Bamboo Body, Herb Faust Food and Ferngrove Wines, making Cocktails For The Animals one of the hottest tickets in town.

For the Animals is dedicated to funding effective conservation projects which achieve tangible results in reducing deforestation, extinction, rural poverty and global warming. Tilbrook believes that much of the progress in conservation is being carried out by small groups of highly committed people who operate on limited resources but accomplish a great deal.

2012's opulent gala and auction established For The Animals as a major presence on Perth's high society scene, and raised money for the purchase of habitat for endangered animals and support for Wildlife Protection Units in Indonesia, as well as improvements at Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre in Cambodia, home to 1100 animals rescued from the illegal wildlife trade. This year's soiree is set to entertain and inform guests thanks to an enchanting fusion of, cocktails, canapés and effervescent ambience.

Ticket price $125 (includes canapés and two complimentary cocktails)
