CME 2014 Safety and Health Conference
CME is proud to present the annual Safety and Health Conference - Australia’s pre-eminent multi-faceted national conference on Workplace Health and Safety in the resources sector.
Western Australia’s reputation as the hub for resources investment throughout the world is showcased at the CME Safety and Health Conference, which also champions workplace safety and health initiatives through presentations, workshops and the annual Safety and Health Innovation Awards.
The 2014 Safety and Health Conference is sure to capture the attention of safety professionals, industry experts and operational safety leaders.
This year, the overarching theme for the 2014 conference is ‘Cutting Edge Safety: New Challenges, New People, New Approaches’ and will interest all safety professionals who are implementing strategies to deal with a new and younger workforce, a shift in mindset from construction to production, or a new set of risks as a result of site or company changes.
The conference will follow a themes and streams format linked to CME's Industry Vision, which aims to ensure ‘everyone in the industry understands and is trained to manage the inherent risks and hazards’. At the 2014 conference, the workshop streams will include – Health, Technical, and Roles and Accountability.
