Perth Festival’s Artistic Director, Wendy Martin, has an esteemed career in the arts and culture sector. Her professional achievements include being the founding curator of Message Sticks Indigenous Arts Festival, and creating the acclaimed disability arts festival Unlimited which celebrates disability arts and culture. Wendy will discuss the power of diversity to disrupt, influence, inspire and contribute to WA’s arts sector and economy more broadly.

Sam Walsh AO, incoming Chair of the Australia Council for the Arts, has a wealth of experience in senior and cultural leadership roles in performing arts organisations, art galleries, cultural philanthropy and arts advocacy. His presentation will examine the role of leadership in embracing diversity in the arts.
