CEDA presents Arup Australasia Region Chair Peter Chamley, as he discusses the competitive nature of cities, the rise of megacities and taking advantage of the ‘Indo Pacific’ century.

Western Australia is well positioned for economic growth with three of the world’s largest economies being lndo-Pacific nations, representing 50 per cent of the world’s population and housing the world’s megacities of today and tomorrow. The Indian Ocean has surpassed the Atlantic and Pacific oceans as the world’s busiest trade corridor with one third of the world’s bulk cargo and two thirds of the global oil shipments now passing through.

Join us as our panel discuss how Western Australia should take advantage of the ‘Indo Pacific’ century and how business is required to navigate foreign and domestic policies, be prepared to take advantage of new opportunities, and prepare for new risks.
