While China’s rapid growth and development has certainly played its part in Australia’s recent economic success, so too has the significant productivity enhancing reforms of the 1980s and 1990s.
However, there are now signs that global economic headwinds are starting to affect the investment pipeline in our booming resources sector. The billion dollar question is whether we will continue to buck these global trends in the absence of a new round of economic reforms?
