Join Roy Hill, CEO, Barry Fitzgerald, as he presents the story of Roy Hill - its major milestones, achievements and lessons learned.

Barry Fitzgerald has over 30 years' experience in the construction, engineering and maintenance sectors of the iron ore industry, through a number of positions held with CITIC Pacific, BHP Iron Ore, BHP Engineering, Henry Walker Eltin, Simon Engineering and Roche Process Engineering.

Barry joined Hancock Prospecting and the Roy Hill Project in June 2010. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer when Roy Hill Holdings Pty Ltd was established in May 2012. As CEO, Barry leads the world-class Roy Hill development, and is the one ultimately responsible for bringing the project online and the operation of the business going forward.

As CEO, Barry has overseen the development, construction and now operations of the Roy Hill project.

Barry has developed a reputation for driving outcomes with the objective of delivering what is promised. To date, this has been reflected in the construction of the project and the commencement of operations and export of product.

Construction of Roy Hill is essentially complete, and the first ore was exported on 10 December 2015. The facilities have now been handed over to Roy Hill and production is ramping up.
