Stephen Smith is the newly appointed Vice Patron of Arthritis & Osteoporosis WA. Stephen retired from the Federal Parliament last year, having spent more than 20 years as the Federal Member for Perth, and his final six years in the Parliament as Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Defence.

Stephen is now a Winthrop Professor of International Law at the University of WA, a Board member of the Perth USAsia Centre, also based at UWA, a Board member of Hockey Australia and a member of the advisory board of leading Perth law firm, Lavan Legal.
