Professor David Yermack will discuss the potential impact of blockchains and highlight the significance of the most high profile blockchain projects underway around the world.

Special focus will be placed on the ASX, which has announced an ambitious plan to replace much of the Exchange's processing infrastructure with a blockchain-based system.

Professor Yermack’s public lecture, Blockchains and the Future of the Financial Services Industry, will take place on Tuesday 30 August at 6pm at the UWA Business School.
