Love a good story? Immerse yourself in verbal and visual stories from amazing talent in Geraldton this May for the 12th Big Sky Readers and Writers Festival.

The three-day event is bringing a depth of storytelling talent to the region for a colourful and insightful range of presentations, workshops, masterclasses, a literary lunch, dinners, and debates.

Festival guests in 2017 include:
- multiple award-winning Australian Indigenous writer Bruce Pascoe (this year’s keynote speaker);
- Singaporean writer, poet and flash fiction storyteller Felix Cheong;
- prolific Victorian crime writer Garry Disher;
- playwright, author, and scriptwriter Hannie Rayson;
- bestselling psychological suspense writer Sara Foster;
- award-winning photographer Frances Andrijich who has published 11 photography books;
- national radio presenter, actress and storyteller Andrea Gibbs;
- historian, comedy writer and children’s book author David Hunt;
- author inspired by history, myths and legends Mark Greenwood;
- children’s writer, poet and winner of the 2016 Prime Minister’s Award for Young Adult Fiction Meg McKinlay;
- Leah Kaminsky, physician, award-winning writer and editor;
- artist, author and illustrator Frane Lesssac.
