Beauty in Giving Garden Tea

WA’s peak diabetes charity has unveiled its new fundraiser – an exquisite garden tea celebrating the beauty of giving in all its forms – to be held on World Health Day in Nedlands.
Diabetes Research WA’s ‘Beauty in Giving Garden Tea’ is being held at Little Way in the afternoon of Friday April 7 and will feature award-winning guest speaker, philanthropist and author Ros Worthington and a live collaborative art experience with exciting Perth contemporary artist Linzi Carter.
Attendees will also take home lavish gift bags and enjoy luscious bites prepared by Little Way’s incredible chefs.

Diabetes Research WA executive director Sherl Westlund said community support was critical in helping tackle the growing health issue, with diabetes listed as Australia's sixth leading cause of death in 2015, Based at Royal Perth Hospital, Diabetes Research WA was established in 1976 to stimulate research into diabetes in Western Australia and has distributed more than $5 million dollars for this work.
