The Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre, together with the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA), invites you to the launch of the third report in the BCEC|WGEA Gender Equity series.

Gender Equity Insights 2018: Inside Australia’s Gender Pay Gap extends and strengthens the evidence base around gender pay gaps and how these have changed over time across Australian workplaces. The report profiles gender pay gaps across occupations and industry sectors and highlight the nature and impact of workplace pay equity policies and actions in addressing these gaps. BCEC analysis in this report draws on WGEA’s unique database of more than 4 million Australian workers, by far the largest contemporary source of information of its kind. The report will provide valuable insights needed to inform good policy in improving gender equality across Australia’s workplaces.

Please join us for lunch with guest panellists Michael Schoch, General Manager Crux and Browse, Shell Australia; Susan Cull, Manager, People and Communities at the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of WA; and Jackie Woods, Engagement Executive Manager, Workplace Gender Equality Agency.
