The world of work is changing. Now more than ever, business needs diverse markets, customers and talent to be competitive. The same diversity is vital in our boardrooms and our leadership teams in order to succeed. Who sits around these tables in your organisation?

Alicia Curtis, author of Difference Makers: A Leader’s Guide to Championing Diversity on Boards has led a huge paradigm shift to ignite diversity on boards in the Not-for-Profit sector in Western Australia.

If you consider gender as the only facet of diversity at senior levels, you are behind the times. Now diversity has broadened to include age, culture, perspective, background, education and network. Whether you’re an experienced leader who is keen to see the benefits of greater diversity on your board or management team, or you’re looking to step up to the next level in your organisation and keen to understand what you can bring, this session is for you.

It will include:
- Why diversity challenges us to be better leaders and how you can be a diversity champion
- How to attract diverse and talented professionals to your board / senior teams, or bring your own skills, knowledge and networks to a board or leadership position
- How to find a (different) mentor to stretch your thinking and behaviour.

Come along and be inspired to think differently about leadership, diversity and community
