Boeing is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners and defense, space and security systems. Boeing products and tailored services include commercial and military aircraft, satellites, weapons, electronic and defense systems, launch systems, advanced information and communication systems, and performance-based logistics and training. Boeing has been working with Australians for more than 90 years, starting with the establishment of Hawker de Havilland (now Boeing Aerostructures Australia) in 1927. Boeing's presence in Australia is the company’s largest footprint outside the United States, with more than 3000 employees across 38 locations. Since then, Boeing has become an integral part of the Australian aerospace industry. No other aerospace and defence company can claim to have made a commitment of this size to Australia or to have played such a major role in the development and maintenance of Australia’s aerospace and defence industries.
President of Boeing Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific, Maureen Dougherty, will provide her unique insights on Boeing’s exciting global business and Australian operations including advanced manufacturing, autonomous systems, defence, R&D, service and training.
