The Western Australian of the Year Awards recognise the highest level of contribution made to Western Australia by those born and bred in Western Australia, or those who have chosen to make Western Australia their home.
The 2015 Western Australian of the Year Awards Gala Dinner will be held over the WA Day long weekend. The event honours Western Australians who have contributed to the State on a local, national and/or global level. Attracting VIP's and other notable guests, the dinners presents seven category awards (Aboriginal, Arts & Culture, Business, Community, Professions, Sport and Youth) and the overall Western Australian of the Year Award.
