17th Annual Works and Parks Annual State Conference
Over 60 local government works supervisors, leading hands, managers and parks personnel from across WA will converge at El Caballo Resort on 14 and 15 August for the 17th Annual Local Government Supervisors Association (LGSA) WA Works and Parks State Conference.
Held over two days in Wooroloo, east of Perth, conference delegates will share, discuss and learn about critical issues affecting local government operations, the thoughts and planning behind the strategies and management of assets, and the technology that brings our State together.
A main focus for this year’s conference will be to address local government reform in WA. Mr Warren Pearce, the Chief Executive Officer of the Local Government Managers Australia WA will present an update to the 60 local government representatives on this issue affecting all metropolitan councils, and is responsible for representing the interests of professional offices in Local Government.
Sustainability, road safety, performance management, streetscape and work safe topics will be discussed by key industry figures during the two-day event. In addition, 32 exhibitors and sponsors will showcase new innovations and services within a trade expo.
