WA needs to stop marketing itself as another city destination and look at ways to engage prospective visitors with unique experiences not available anywhere else in World i.e. Aboriginal, animals and adventure. We have the 3 A's but we just don't seem to want to market them in a compelling and authentic way. A cable car is not the answer - Are you serious?! People from half way around the world are going to come to WA to ride a cable car from EQ to Kings Park - What a joke! How about faster and more frequent, affordable trains to WA's south west, Goldfields and North West with efficient and affordable tourist transport at the destination? Of course we have large distances, but the journeys we could be offering people would be so unique that plenty would be keen to take part...
