There is now a serious need to reconsider the FIFO issue. Its community implications and associated costs both in the residence cities and the work related communities. The resource related communities need to be built with permanent residence in mind, not workers who only live there part time and live in Perth or other cities the other part time. Facilities such as affordable housing, schools, shops, entertainment etc need to be provided by the mining and resourse companies with assistance by both Federal and State governments. Incentives to workers should be enhanced such as subsidised freehold home ownership, trips to metro cities, community facilities etc. Enough is enough, lets do this NOW. D
