Very interesting article . As a commission only sales consultant like most consultants within the industry, I have noticed that a lot of experienced people are leaving the industry . Most builders haven't reduced their sales staff or display homes relative to reduced sales activity. Their is an imbalance in the system . The HIA should bring an industry standard that consultants should be able to charge customers for design work completed. At present there are too many builders chasing for a smaller piece of the pie. Costs very little to have lots of consultants fighting for business, resulting in scrupulous sales tactics , reducing the professionalism of the industry . Just an observation I have made but walk through any display village , and will notice not many customers requiring attention

This is just rinse repeat. Look at history collier homes have had issues before and then returned. Hopefully this time the hia and MBA have been thorough in protecting people. Only time will tell
