It is about time this got underway. I only hope that most of the work is kept local unlike some of the schools projects that went overseas and were government funded.

Perth
Yet, alas, there is still no mention of a rail link from Perth to the Airport, very shortsighted...

Hope they fix the traffic that builds up at the international airport and tonkin highway plus the botched intersection near the new airport viewing platform what a joke that is it has transfered the problem to another part of Tonkin Highway.

Success
We must rid of these dumb planning ideas we continually build for a start, light intersections are a crap solution. the octopus design is the most effective way esp where main arteries intersect (eg Narrows interchange) Now, Did anyone think of creating an express underground (bus/tram/train...) under GE Hwy during all this wdg works - Great solution from the Airport-Burswood-City ??

Kewdale
This is great news for local industries as both Leightons and georgiou support local manufacturers

Perth
A rail link from Perth to the International Terminal is being looked at - watch the news.

What I'd like to know is where are you going to be sending the traffic. I live in the Hills and it already takes me an hour to get through Welshpool and Orrong Road traffic. Your fixing one problem and then probably going to be causing another. What's your solution????
