The prof (Barry Marshall) was great ... next Lisa Scaffidi, then Michael Chaney

I really enjoyed interviewing Professor Barry Marshall on stage at our recent Success & Leadership event. The audience feedback has been exceptional, which means it will be hard to beat. He's a great character who told some amusing stories and continued a theme at our events with having star medical researchers. One of the first S&L-style events we held featured Professor Fiona Wood, who later became Australian of the Year. We also had Professor Lyle Palmer a 40under40 winner and geneticist.

The medical theme won't be picked up again this year, though. Next up we have City of Perth Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi who has overssen such remarkable change in our capital city and, after that, we have outgoing National Australia Bank chairman and incoming Wesfarmers chairman Michael Chaney, who still chairs Woodside and is chancellor at the University of Western Australia, among other things. Quite an end to the year, I reckon.
