Perth-based ICT company Velrada is on track to hit $40 million in annual revenue after winning a multi-year contract in Victoria with Club Assist, the world’s largest mobile automotive battery retailer.

Under the $3.2 million contract, Velrada will digitally transform the Club Assist business through implementation of the Microsoft Dynamics platform.

The Dynamics platform covers Club Assist’s mobile road-side assistance service, procurement, inventory, warehousing and customer experience, and integration with legacy solutions.

In a statement, Velrada executive director Dominic Nolan said the scope of the transformation for Club Assist was significant.

“Club Assist went through a through selection process and took positive references from global Velrada clients such as Sodexo, Downer, Marubeni-Itochu Tubulars Oceania (MITO), and HostPlus,” he said.

Club Assist CFO Darshan Parik said his firm saw a significant opportunity to improve customer service and operational efficiency.

“We considered a number of providers for this project, including international majors, but we settled on Velrada primarily for the quality of people, understanding of our needs and cost-effective approach,” he said.

Chief executive Rob Evans said Velrada had grown its business significantly on the east coast and into deeper Microsoft competencies around data and AI, Dynamics365 and the Azure platform.

“We are growing at around 40 per cent per annum and we have a base of work for FY20 that will see us achieve $40 million in revenues with 50 per cent of that coming from the eastern states and Internationally,” Mr Evans said.

“We have some significant client relationships international with the like of Sodexo, large Resources and EPC clients, and with asset intensive businesses such as Melbourne Airports.
