One of the three new appointments around Australia, Mr Lucev has practised as a barrister in Western Australia since 1999, mainly in the areas of industrial relations and employment law.

Attorney-General Philip Ruddock today announced the appointments of Toni Lucev, John Morcombe and Keith Wilson SC as Federal Magistrates.
"Mr Lucev, Mr Morcombe and Mr Wilson bring to their new positions a wealth of experience and expertise," Mr Ruddock said.
Mr Toni Lucev has practised as a barrister in Western Australia since 1999, mainly in the areas of industrial relations and employment law.
From 2001 to 2002, Mr Lucev was Counsel Assisting the Royal Commission into the Building and Construction Industry.
He will be the first Perth-based Federal Magistrate.
Mr John Morcombe has practised as a barrister in South Australia since 1995, in the areas of family law, de facto property, and commercial litigation. He previously practised as foundation partner in the South Australian legal firm of Morcombe Townsend, in areas including commercial law, commercial litigation and family law.
Mr Morcombe will be based in Adelaide.
Mr Keith Wilson SC has practised as a barrister in Queensland since 1986 and was appointed a Senior Counsel in 2002. His practice has been in general civil litigation across a wide range of matters, including insurance law, trade practices law, professional negligence, contract law, tort law and civil procedure.
He will be based in Brisbane.
All three Federal Magistrates will take up their appointments on 14 August 2006.
