Sales activity was up over the week, with Reiwa members reporting an increase in weekly sales to 659. The overall 17 per cent increase in weekly sales is attributed to a 15 per cent increase in sales for houses, 11 per cent for units and 49 per cent for vacant land.

Sales activity was up over the week, with Reiwa members reporting an increase in weekly sales to 659. The overall 17 per cent increase in weekly sales is attributed to a 15 per cent increase in sales for houses, 11 per cent for units and 49 per cent for vacant land.

Total properties listed for sale increased by 1 per cent over the week to 15,572. Listings for houses and vacant land both increased by 1 and 2 per cent respectively, while unit listings remained constant over the week. The total number of listings recorded this week is 4 per cent higher than four weeks ago but 8 per cent lower than the same time last year.

Turning to the rental market, Reiwa members reported total properties available for rent remained stable over the week at 10,667. This is 1 per cent lower than four weeks ago but remains 15 per cent higher than the same time last year.
