This week, Reiwa members reported a decrease in weekly sales to 545.

The overall 3 per cent decrease in sales over the week is attributed to an 11 per cent decrease in sales for houses. However, sales for units and vacant land increased by 29 and 22 per cent respectively over the week.

Total properties listed for sale remained unchanged in percentage terms at 14,084.

Listings for houses increased by a marginal 1 per cent over the week, while units and vacant land listings both remained unchanged in percentage terms.

The total number of listings recorded this week is at similar levels in comparison to four weeks ago but 1 per cent higher compared to the same time last year.

Turning to the rental market, Reiwa members reported total properties available for rent decreased by a marginal 1 per cent over the week to 11,083.

This is 2 per cent lower than four weeks ago but remains 34 per cent higher than the same time last year.
