reiwa.com property sales data for the overall market for the week ending 23 February 2016 totalled 678 which represents a 6 per cent increase in total sales over the week.
This is following a marginal decrease in sales activity seen in the first two weeks of February confirming the latest week’s figures has bucked the trend seen in volumes.
Total average sales per week based on the last four weeks sits at 674.
Looking at the individual sectors, reiwa.com data shows that total sales for houses sit at 500 from 485, an increase of 3 per cent in comparison to last week.
Land sales have also increased from 50 to 72 this week, an increase of 44 per cent. However, Unit sales have remained unchanged in percentage terms over the week.
