The Australian Hotels Association (WA) is celebrating the 125th anniversary of our foundation and the contribution the hotel and hospitality industry has made to Western Australia. On 12 July 1892 the Licensed Victuallers of Western Australia gathered at the Royal Hotel on the corner of William and Wellington Streets in Perth to establish a unified state-wide association. The future of WA’s economy relies on a strong hospitality and tourism industry. We keep the sector safe, viable and productive, which guarantees the viability of associated businesses and suppliers. When the industry is successful there is much greater opportunity for economic growth, sustainable business conditions, and jobs. We will continue to protect WA’s hotel and hospitality industry and its integral role in the Australian way of life.

We create unique partnerships with Australia’s infrastructure asset owners. We act as a single point of contact for you to receive information about the assets from our members. Safety is a fundamental aspect of any project and Dial Before You Dig is therefore the first point of call, that is: The Essential First Step. Western Australia is celebrating 30 years of Dial Before You Dig or One Call services this year. On Wednesday 21 June 2017 many of our DBYD WA members and users along with former and current staff gathered together to celebrate this milestone.
