Perth-based Automotive Technology Group has won two new product awards at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) global awards for 2011, held in Las Vegas.
ATG’s Sprintex range of Jeep supercharger systems and its Mini Cooper S supercharger system were both ranked in the top ten products of 2011 by the award judges.
“The company’s strong showing at the SEMA show this year has established the Sprintex supercharger as the sought after product in the demand for quality and efficient superchargers, managing director Stephen Apedaile said.
“Verification of our product range as an aftermarket product provides the company with further confidence that our pursuit of the lucrative original equipment manufacturing contracts will pay enormous dividends.”
Mr Apedaile said strong interest was also shown in the company’s Honda and Mini supercharger systems at the SEMA show, which is the world’s largest aftermarket automotive parts convention, attracting more than 1,800 exhibitors from over 100 countries.
By close of trade today ATG stocks had gained 8 per cent, to trade at 2.7 cents.
