Wangara-based Shorewater Marine has secured maintenance and construction works, including at Busselton Jetty, worth a combined value of $7.4 million.

Established in 2003, Shorewater is a commercial diving, marine construction and asset maintenance service provider, operating in Western Australia.

Under one of the contracts, valued at $3.4 million, the company will provide maintenance services to Busselton Jetty for five years.

Shorewater will also build new serviced boat pens and associated gateways and fixed platform structure at Two Rocks Marina, under a separate $4 million contract.

It previously built boat pens at the marina, as well as replaced 30-year-old facilities at Hillarys Boat Harbour, under a $4.9 million contract with the Department of Transport.

Shorewater had replaced floating concrete jetties at Hillarys with a modern floating pen system, making way for a new jetty and eight additional pens.

At Two Rocks Marina, the company built a replacement jetty comprising nine pens, and demolished the original fuel jetty as part of a major upgrade to the marina.
