Shares in Subiaco-based Sam's Seafood Holdings Ltd will start trading on the local stock market later this week after a three year administration hiatus.

The restart of trade follows a release from administration and the retirement of receivers and managers in September last year.

The company went into receivership in May 2005 due to deteriorating profitability of the group, which distributed and processed a wide range of fresh and frozen seafood for the local and export markets.

There are over 365 million shares fully paid ordinary shares in the company, which are expected to start trading on Friday at 10am.

Shares in Sam's Seafood last traded at 50 cents.
