Perth accountant Neil Alessandrino has pleaded guilty to a rolled-up fraud charge in the District Court this week.

The charge relates to Mr Alessandrino’s activities during his time as managing partner at accounting firm Alessandrino Scivolo between 2010 and 2012.

The Director of Public Prosecution alleges that Mr Alessandrino defrauded the business to a value of $43,821.

In September 2016, he was released on bail after presenting to the Magistrates Court on charges of fraud or stealing as director of a company.

Mr Alessandrino was initially facing 53 fraud charges, however these have been rolled-up in to a singular charge of intent to defraud by deceit or fraudulent means gaining benefit.

He is due to face court again on August 17.

The Alessandrino Scivolo practise was continued by partners Roberto Femia and Tony Kolker.

The company now trades as Horizon Accountants and Advisory after it was purchased by Ivan and Julie Cohen in 2016.
