Various appointments at Cannings Purple

Ruth Callaghan has been appointed to the newly created role of chief innovation officer at Cannings Purple. Peter Klinger has been promoted to director of media strategy. Caroline Thomson joins the corporate affairs team as director. Kristy Havelberg has been promoted to manager of business development and marketing, Lauren Pow has been promoted to consultant in the corporate affairs team, and Sarah-Jane Dabarera moves into the account services coordinator role. 

Gray elected president of the International Harbour Masters' Association

The International Harbour Masters' Association has elected Allan Gray as president. Mr  Gray has been appointed federal master for the Company of Master Mariners Australia and has 20 years' experience in the shipping industry.

Ward appointed to magistrates court

Lisa Ward has been appointed to the magistrates court of WA. For 14 years, Ms  Ward was a member of the State Administrative Tribunal and the Migration Review Tribunal and Refugee Tribunal. 

New managing director at PKF Mack

Darren Shillington has been appointed Managing Partner of PKF Mack.  Mr  Shillington became a partner of the practice in 1996 in the taxation and business advisory services division, servicing a wide range of clients across all industries.

Optima Partners appoints new director

Ross Stagno has been appointed director of Optima Partners. Mr  Stagno joined Optima Partners as a senior accountant in November 2010 and was promoted to manager in 2016.

Beth Robinson has been appointed special counsel in the human resources and industrial relations practice at MinterEllison. Ms  Robinson is a specialist workplace, industrial relations and safety lawyer. Michael Nazareth has been promoted to senior associate in human resources and industrial relations practice. McEvoy to drive the International Wine Tourism Strategy

Tourism WA has appointed Andrew McEvoy to guide the implementation of new strategies to drive more visitors to Western Australia. Mr  McEvoy has experience as chairman of the board with a demonstrated history of working in the leisure, travel & tourism industry.
