Constructive recruits Gherardi

Recruiting firm Constructive has appointed Emanuel Gherardi as principal consultant, resources. Mr  Gherardi will oversee the company’s recruitment function in the resources sector, across Australia and Internationally. Mr  Gherardi was previously a director of Pacific Roar. He has over 17 years’ local and international recruitment experience, specialising in the mining, oil & gas industries. Mr  Gherardi’s other past roles include founder and managing director of recruitment and human resources services company Energy & Mining Group and general manager, people & capability at Zenith Partners.

New director appointed to Denton's Perth office

The Perth practice of law firm Dentons has appointed Andries Ludik director, construction and infrastructure. Mr Ludik was previously a senior associate at Lavan Legal, which he joined in 2014, after more than two years as commercial manager for CPB Contractors.

Wrays Perth appoints new Principal

Intellectual property law firm Wrays has appointed Guy Provan as principal in its Perth office. Mr  Provan has been practicing IP law for over 25 years and joins Wrays from Watermark, where he served as special counsel. Prior to Watermark, Mr  Provan ran his own law practice in Perth for 11 years, after roles with Moboom and Herbert Smith Freehills (then Freehills).

Jamie Blair appointed to IRDI

IRDI Legal has appointed Jamie Blair as senior lawyer in their Estate Planning and Succession team. Mr  Blair was the head of WA Estate Planning, Succession and Wills team at Slater & Gordon Lawyers, where he worked for just over 10 years. He specialises in probate, estate planning and administration, and wealth distribution of personal and commercial matters.

New Associate Director for CEDA

Susanna Wolz has been appointed associate director of the Committee for Economic Development of Australia. Ms  Wolz has over 10 years' experience in communications, media, events and public relations. She joined Curtin University in 2012 as a PR consultant and recently was acting media manager for the university and business school.

Draper joins Bethanie

Carol Draper has been appointed general manager, marketing and brand for Bethanie. Ms  Draper has over two decades’ experience as a senior marketing professional in health, aged care, legal, construction, fitness and pharmaceutical industries. Ms  Draper has served as group manager, marketing and communications for the past five years, before which she managed PR and marketing for Amana Living.

Board Changes at Diabetes Research WA

Diabetes Research WA has appointed Sally Bruce and Liz McGrath to its board. Ms  Bruce is special counsel of Jackson McDonald. Ms  McGrath, a former journalist, is communications consultant at the Energy and Minerals Institute of UWA. They replace long-serving board members Bill Coleman and Ian Jepson.

Nulsen adds te Brinke to board

Simon te Brinke has joined board of Nulsen Disability Services. Mr  te Brinke is the founder and digital communications strategy lead of Gramercy Park Consulting. With over 25 years of marketing communications experience, Mr  te Brinke specialises in social technology and digital communications strategy.

Stuart Cox, The Agency's new State Sales Manager for WA

Ausnet Financial Services’ real estate subsidiary The Agency has appointed Stuart Cox as state sales manager, Western Australia. Mr  Cox was previously general manager of Harcourts Australia, after a prior role as Harcourts’ chief executive, WA. He spent eight years as managing director of Peard Real Estate.

Changes at Georgiou

Georgiou Group has appointed Steve Okill general manager, building WA. Mr Okill was previously the Singapore-based managing director, South East Asia for multinational construction and engineering services firm ISG, a position which he held for almost eight years. Prior to that role he spent three years as general manager, Asia for Confluence Project Management, after five years as operations manager, WA for Multiplex Facilities Management. The appointment comes as part of a management restructure that sees the previous general manager Frank Dilizia move to the role of manager, new business as the company shifts focus to new work.

Cook joins HopgoodGanim

HopgoodGanim Lawyers has appointed Kellie Cook a senior associate in its commercial property team. Ms  Cook joins the firm from Kott Gunning, where she has worked since 2010.
