Shannon takes helm at Leeuwin

The Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation has appointed Carol Shannon as chief executive.

Ms Shannon is the foundation’s outgoing chair and has been with the organisation for more than 25 years, 18 of these as a board member.

She has served as director of the Conservation Commission of Western Australia since 2012.

 

Senior roles at RSM Perth

RSM has appointed Ralph Martin national technical director, assurance and advisory.

Mr Martin joins the firm’s Perth office after previously serving as audit technical director for Crowe Horwath.

Dan Hutchens and Travis Kukura have been appointed principal, risk advisory services and principal, restructuring and recovery services respectively.

 

Board changes at WARDT

Western Australian Department of Regional Development deputy chair Tim Shanahan has been promoted to chair of the organisation.

Mr Shanahan had served as deputy chair for the past three years and is succeeded in that role by current board member Karlie Mucjanko.

NGIS Australia managing director Paul Farrell has been appointed to the board.

The changes follow the retirement of chair Sue Middleton and member Peter Rundle.

 

New partner at Gadens practice

Hector West has been appointed a partner in Gadens’ Perth dispute resolution practice.

Mr West joined Gadens as a senior associate in insolvency and commercial litigation in 2013, after six years with Swaab attorneys.
