PACT Construction has secured a $60.8 million contract to complete the main works at the new Inner City College at Kitchener Park in Subiaco.

According to the state government’s tenders website, Pact was one of six companies to submit a proposal for the project, which is set to commence soon.

The school will be built across different levels spanning three and four storeys with modern specialist facilities along with a sports hall, gymnasium, lecture theatres and a library.

The school set to open to year seven students in 2020, with expansion to 2,000 high school students in 2025.

The school is being designed by a joint venture of Bateman Architects and T&Z Architects, and will incorporate the existing football oval into its design.

In March, Pact was awarded a $4.8 million contract for the forward and earthworks at the site.

The state government has valued the overall project at $68 million.
