One of Mosman Park's finest up for sale

MOSMANS Restaurant has hit the market, with agents from CBRE expecting the well-known eatery to attract significant interest in Western Australia and overseas.

CBRE’s David Kennedy said the site, adjacent to Johnson Parade, incorporated not only the restaurant, but a jetty with moorings for seven 25-metre boats and a three bedroom residence.

“MOSMANS is not just a restaurant, run under management, which recently took out the Telstra Small Business Start Up award, it also comprises some of the most protected boat moorings in Perth water and includes what is likely to be the only residence built over the Swan River, Mr Kennedy said.

“All buildings and improvements within the site are owned by the ground lease holder, offering the opportunity for an astute investor to buy a well-run business and residence until a minimum of 2026.

“Added to that the current owners have spent in excess of $1.4m on works to the jetties, residence and restaurant there is little to do onsite.”

The restaurant is being offered for sale via expressions of interest.

The current owner, Brent Pollard, purchased the restuarant, which was formerly known as Meads, in 2008.
