Nuheara grows presale traction

Tuesday, 19 April, 2016 - 14:44

Justin Miller’s wearable technology company Nuheara has received over $500,000 in pre-orders for its IQbuds product, which is expected to hit the market before the end of the year.

In a statement today, Nuheara said it had recorded more than 1,800 pre-order sales in 67 countries through crowdfunding site Indiegogo.

More than 2,000 Nuheara IQbuds have been ordered in the 13 days since the pre-order sales campaign launched.

Mr Miller said the campaign continues to gain traction on a global scale.

“We are very pleased that, while we have gained great market acceptance in Australia and the US, we have continued to push pre-order sales into many other new countries,” he said.

“This is really helping to prove that consumers globally have a need for our product and that the potential market beyond this campaign’s limited reach is significant.”

The company has received orders from other countries including Japan, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany and Hong Kong.

Nuheara hopes to bring its first commercial product into the market before the end of 2016.

Nuheara shares closed 12.7 per cent higher to 6.2 cents each.
