Advertising agency Marketforce has recruited Jon Amery and Dixie Marshall and partnered with Debra Neve to support the launch of new services.

Ms Marshall is best known as a former television news reader and head of strategic communications for former premier Colin Barnett.

More recently, she and Ms Neve worked at Dentsu Aegis Network businesses, as did recently appointed Marketforce group chief executive Adam Marshall.

Ms Marshall has joined the Marketforce group as head of Flare in Perth.

Flare BBDO is a global network content agency and video production company with offices around the world.

Ms Marshall’s previous role, from April 2017 to mid 2018, was head of creative and partnerships of The Story Lab, Dentsu’s entertainment content and ‘storytelling’ business.

Ms Neve has about 40 years' media industry experience and was most recently head of investment and activation at Dentsu’s media buying arm, Carat.

Mr Marshall, who previously ran Carat in Perth, said Marketforce has partnered with Ms Neve’s new media business.

Ms Neve’s agency will operate as an affiliate of Marketforce’s media buying arm, OMD WA, and also provide media planning and buying services.

Mr Amery, who was formerly general manager marketing with telco Vocus, has been hired to establish a new marketing consultancy that will provide direct support to client marketing teams.

A key component of the new service will be assisting clients to maximise their marketing technology platforms and improve marketing return on investment.

“This is an exciting moment in the history of Marketforce” Mr Marshall said.

“Dixie, Debra and Jon are the undisputed leaders in their respective fields and they bring a wealth of talent and new ideas to our clients.

“These services will operate independently and as part of our integrated group offering alongside Marketforce and OMD WA.”
