Boutique property player LKD Development Group has taken the next step in delivering its latest project, appointing Jaxon to commence construction of its nine-storey residential development on Tully Road in East Perth next month.

Designed by Subiaco-based architect Doepel Marsh, LKD’s $40 million project, 9 Tully, comprises 79 apartments with one-, two- and three-bedroom options and prices starting at $365,000.

LKD is a self-managed and family run real estate development and investment firm, headed by managing director Fabian Deng.

“Despite the slower market, the project met good demand from buyers who wanted modern apartment living within the Claisebrook village lifestyle on offer in East Perth, along with the new Perth Stadium featuring as a common comment made by the buyers,” Mr Deng said.

“LKD is a boutique developer, and aligning with a quality team in Jaxon who will complement our vision is important.”

Jaxon business development manager Travis Harvey said the company was excited to be working with LKD for the first time, a relationship Jaxon hoped would continue.

Jaxon prides itself on providing a service higher than the norm and we believe the award of this project reinforce this," he said.

"It’s been a great start to the year.”

Project completion is expected in the last quarter of 2019.

Since launching in Western Australia in 2016, LKD has built up a portfolio of properties including the completed $20 million, four-storey 40-apartment complex on 152 Fitzgerald St.

It also has several other developments across metropolitan Perth currently in the planning phase, with its next project on Roe Street adjoining the Perth City Link due to launch in the 2019 financial year.
