Listed communications and ICT services provider Inabox Group has grown its local presence with the acquisition of Perth-based Logic Communications for $1.5 million in cash.

NSW-based Inabox said today the acquisition would double its presence of engineers in Western Australia, with the company to continue offering Logic’s internet services, managed IT, VoIP and cloud services offerings to clients.

Inabox chief executive Damian Kay said the deal provided Inabox with 74 new clients.

“This acquisition provides an opportunity for Perth-based SMEs to deal locally with a national company that provides the full suite of IT services,” Mr Kay said.

“Through this acquisition Inabox now represents a strong alternative in WA as a full service provider to the SME market segment.

“Inabox’s Perth branch has been one of the quiet achievers, however through this acquisition has announced itself as one of the go-to full service IT, cloud and telco providers.”
