Gage secures nib Stadium supply deal

Gage Roads Brewing Company has won a five-year beer and cider supply contract with nib Stadium, adding to a similar deal with Optus Stadium.

Under the state government contract, which was awarded by stadium operator VenuesWest, the venue will exclusively supply Gage Roads draught and packaged products.

The stadium is home to Perth Glory and the Western Force and also hosts a number of concerts.

Gage managing director John Hoedemaker said the deal was another brand exposure opportunity for the company.

“This partnership presents another exciting opportunity to achieve significant exposure for the company’s brands and reinforces the ’brand-in-hand’ experience that we continue to promote as part of our proprietary brands strategy,” he said.

“Gage Roads will contribute to the nib Stadium experience by providing high-quality beer and cider, brewed locally and delivered fresh to the venue.”

In September last year, Gage Roads was awarded a five-year supply contract with Optus Stadium, which helped boost the company’s March quarter results in 2018.

Shares in Gage Roads were up 4.35 per cent at 12 cents each today.
