Global Construction Services has secured a $7.4 million contract in Melbourne, with merger partner SRG set to complete part of the work.

GCS said it had been awarded a secure concrete structure contract as part of a hotel development in Melbourne.

The contract includes the installation of precast panels, post tensioning, reinforcement and all other related concrete structure installations.

Works are expected to begin in the first quarter of the 2019 financial year and be completed in about seven months.

GCS said SRG has been contracted to complete post-tensioning works.

“The GCS team on the east coast continues to deliver on GCS’s strategy of diversifying the group’s revenue streams,” GCS managing director Enzo Gullotti said.

“GCS is excited that this is the first time our Eeast coast concrete and formwork division has partnered with J Hutchinson and we are pleased to begin our relationship with them on this iconic development.

“This is also an exciting contract award for GCS and SRG as it underscores our already close working relationship.”
