FMG shares fall, capital raising shelved

SHARES in Fortescue Metals Group fell as much as 14 per cent in trade as the miner called off its widely mooted $500 million capital raising to institutions. FMG’s share price fell to $2.56 after being placed in a trading halt at the start of last week.
