Civil contracting group Ertech has won a $50 million general services contract with Chevron for works at its Gorgon liquefied natural gas project on Barrow Island.
The scope of works includes roadworks, earthworks, civil, mechanical, electrical and building works for the main construction activities on the island.
Ertech chairman Jim Giumelli said the company was delighted to have secured another contract with Chevron.
“Since commencing on Barrow Island in 2009 we have safely delivered over $200 million of construction works for Chevron,” Mr Giumelli said in a statement.
“We gain great satisfaction from generating repeat business from clients.”
