Eden gains US approval

Perth-based Eden Innovations’ concrete admixture has been approved by the Oregon Department of Transportation, with EdenCrete now permitted for use in 11 US states.

EdenCrete is a carbon-strengthened concrete additive that enhances the durability and flexibility of concrete.

The company said in a statement to the ASX that the ODOT had conditionally approved the use of the product in concrete.

EdenCrete is now able to be used in Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.

Based on the current approvals, the product is able to be used on approximately 26 per cent of structurally deficient bridges in the US.

The company has also lodged applications in 11 other US states.

Shares in Eden finished up 13 per cent at 17 cents each.
