Construction companies Doric and Jaxon have unveiled a management shakeup, with David Dodds to exit the group and Vince Mulholland to take the reins of the combined business.

Doric and Jaxon linked their operations in 2017 by sharing back-of-house services, after Doric founder Harry Xydas bought out his former shareholders at Doric.

Both companies subsequently launched a comprehensive strategic review, while Mr Mulholland said having a single chief executive was the next step in that process.

“The closer alignment of Doric and Jaxon will mean our current profitable position in maintained and grown over the long term,” he said.

“Our strategy review, coupled with key projects … means we are well placed for the future.”

Mr Mulholland thanked Mr Dodds’ contribution to the growth of Jaxon for the past six and a half years.

Lance Van Drunick will be elevated to manage operations at Doric, while general manager Russell Perkins will be responsible for the operational side of Jaxon.
