Wednesday, 25 May, 2016 - 13:58

Perth-based Decmil Group has won another contract to build a school in New Zealand.

In a statement today, Scott Criddle-led Decmil said it had been awarded a $NZ17 million ($A15.9 million) contract to design and construct a new primary school in Auckland for the New Zealand Ministry of Education.

Work under the contract will begin immediately.

The Auckland deal is the second school contract win in New Zealand by Decmil, with the company receiving a contract to build a primary school in South Hornby in Christchurch last year.

“The project further consolidates the establishment of Decmil’s New Zealand office with projects underway on both the north and south islands,” the company said in a statement.

Decmil shares were 0.6 per cent higher to 79 cents each ahead of the close of trade.
