Crothers Construction Pty Ltd has won the main contract for works at Grandis Primary School, less than a month after it secured a $17 million contract to build the Byford South East Primary School.

Crothers previously won the stage one works for Grandis Primary, formerly known as Banksia Grove Primary, in August, in a contract worth $3.8 million.

That contract involved the construction of the kindergarten and pre-primary facility, and for bulk earthworks.

The second stage encompasses the remainder of the $13.65 million project, and includes the construction of eight single-storey buildings and external works including a 180-bay car park, landscaping, a sports oval, and hard courts.

Construction is due to be completed before the 2020 school year.

Crothers secured the main contract for Byford South East Primary School in December, comprising the construction of eight buildings and external works.

In 2017, the state government announced the school would cost $18.9 million.

In December it was also announced that ADCO Constructions won a $6 million contract for upgrades at Southern River College.
