Former Oil Search executive general manager investment and strategy Austin Miller has joined the board as an independent non-executive director. Mr Miller has also previously held senior investment banking positions at Merrill Lynch and HSBC James Capel.

Non-executive chairman Rhod Grivas has been appointed as interim executive chairman, following the resignation of chief executive officer Lyndon Hopkins. Mr Hopkins has also terminated his directorships in all subsidiary companies.

Laurence Ziatas has resigned as a director of the company and as a financial manager of Peruvian subsidiary Inca Minerales. Mr Ziatas has also resigned as chairman and a director of the company’s Australian subsidiary Urcaguary Pty Ltd.

Non-executive director Gary Scanlan will assume the role of lead director, following the resignation of managing director Greg Edwards. Mr Edwards, who was a founding director, has accepted a consultant role with the company focused on government and community relations.
